I work with much compassion and empathy with my clients. We work together to create a plan for your treatment and growth. Our focus is on the present and how to make your life feel better by identifying past and present thoughts and feelings which may no longer be helpful and building on those which provide empowerment. As with anything we do, there are no guarantees.  Change can be difficult at first but most clients find it becomes easier and are pleased with the results of their hard work.

Reading my background page may give you an idea or sense of how I work with my clients. I have integrated my own experiences from life transitions from the business world.  In that world I was a manager with responsibilities for multiple offices with lenders and staff working to help build businesses. My approach was always collaborative.  We worked as a team and I was the coach.

As my life goals changed the way I wanted to see myself in the world changed also,  I changed my lifestyle and career when  I chose to follow my heart and become a clinical psychologist.  While enjoying my daughter and family, I completed my clinical degree in psychology with a specialization in health and resilience building.

My private practice covers many types of life transitions including stress management that is needed in our daily work and
personal lives.  Grief therapy is also an important part of my practice. I have dealt with clients who have lost a loved one, a career, or a sense of self through the many losses which we can incur.
